These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Bulk Photo Resizer ("the tool", "the service"), a free browser-based image resizing and compression tool available at ashfaqanwar.com/imagecompressor, provided by Ashfaq Anwar C K, an individual developer, not a company. By using the tool, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
The tool resizes, compresses, and converts images entirely inside your own browser using JavaScript. Optionally, you can sign in with your own Google account to import images from, and/or save compressed output to, your Google Drive and/or Google Photos. No image data is uploaded to or processed on any server operated by this tool — see the Privacy Policy for details.
You may use the tool free of charge for personal or commercial purposes. You're responsible for the images you process and for having the necessary rights to them, including any images you import from, or save to, your own Google Drive or Google Photos.
The tool is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including, without limitation, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. Compression, resizing, and format conversion are lossy processes; always keep your own backup of original files before using the tool.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ashfaq Anwar C K will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or any loss of data, images, or Google Drive/Google Photos access, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the tool — including issues caused by your browser, device, network, or third-party services such as Google. Uploads to Google Drive or Google Photos count against your own Google Account storage quota, and you are solely responsible for that usage.
You agree not to use the tool to process, generate, or distribute content that is illegal, infringes on others' rights, or violates applicable law. You also agree not to attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer the backend of, or abuse the tool or the third-party services it relies on (including Google's Drive and Photos APIs).
You retain all rights to the images you process — the tool claims no ownership over your content. The tool's own code, design, and branding are owned by Ashfaq Anwar C K. The tool also uses open-source third-party libraries (Bootstrap, jQuery, Font Awesome, JSZip, exif-js, SweetAlert2, and Google's Identity Services / Picker / Drive API / Photos Picker API / Photos Library API scripts), each under their own respective licenses.
The tool is offered on a best-effort basis with no guaranteed uptime or availability, and may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice.
These Terms may be updated from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision. Continuing to use the tool after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless otherwise required by the mandatory laws of your own jurisdiction.
